About Our Principal, Claudine Vainrub

Claudine Vainrub is the Principal of EduPlan and an educational consultant for over 15 years. Through EduPlan, she has supported thousands of college and graduate-school candidates to gain admission to the most selective institutions in the United States of America and all over the world. Additionally, on a yearly basis, 95% of her students earn unsolicited merit scholarships and financial aid packages covering up to 100% tuition and fees.

Claudine Vainrub 2016Ms. Vainrub attended the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, where she earned her Master’s in Business Administration Degree (MBA). Additionally, she graduated with high distinction from the UCLA College Counseling Certification program, and from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, in Caracas, Venezuela, where she earned her degree in Journalism. Ms. Vainrub supported the University of Michigan Ross School Admissions for over ten years as Alumni Admissions Committee Member, conducting interviews for MBA admissions.

In the past decade, Ms. Vainrub has personally visited over 200 colleges and universities. She is actively involved in leading organizations in the education industry, holding positions such as Board Director of the Association for International Graduate Admissions Counseling (AIGAC) and of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), and regional representative for HECA. She is currently a mentor for new educational consultants/members of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). Ms. Vainrub is also a member of the National Association of College Admissions Counseling (NACAC), the Southern Chapter (SACAC), International (ACAC), and the Council of International Schools (CIS).

As an expert in education, Ms. Vainrub's opinions have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, CNN, CareerBuilder, Forbes Magazine, US News, and other global media. For three years, she appeared as the weekly guest of the Eli Bravo radio show on Actualidad 1020 AM. She continues to provide her expertise in education-related topics to audiences across the world through mass media and global presentations.

Through EduPlan, Ms. Vainrub supports students from every continent in the world to achieve their educational goals. She has worked with students from all over the U.S., and from countries such as Venezuela, Spain, Switzerland, Panama, Colombia, Israel, Dominican Republic, Peru, Brazil, China, France, Russia, the U.K., Canada, Mexico, and Argentina, to name a few. Ms. Vainrub is originally from Venezuela. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and has good knowledge of Hebrew.

Ms. Vainrub is actively involved in the community at large. She earned the award of Woman of Valor from the Tauber Academy for her contributions to this private institution as Parent-Teacher Association President, and was appointed Board Member of Aventura Waterways K-8 Center, a large public school in South Florida.

Ms. Vainrub amassed great success from the corporate world before beginning her career in education. She held senior management positions such as Executive Vice President for Grupo Frigilux, an international manufacturing corporation with over 1,500 employees. Her career includes over twenty years of leading experience in Human Resources, Marketing Management, Research, Analysis and Strategic Planning for companies such as General Motors Corp. and Shiseido.

Due to her excellent public speaking skills in English and Spanish, Ms. Vainrub has been invited to conduct seminars and speaking engagements, motivating others with her enthusiasm and desire to succeed. Ms. Vainrub is regarded as accessible to her students and deeply connecting with them. With her fact-finding skills and her devotion to each individual she works with, she ensures complying with her unique promise of value–to inspire students to reach their maximum education and career potential.
